Well, I got married. Everything else is pretty much the same. I did get to write a blog post as part of the Indie Web Club, and its twice-a-month format actually works for me.

I'm anxious about creating this page because in real life, I am private. But I have come to realize that this has held me back in various ways:

• I do not get to meet people that I can have an actual conversation with. I miss the days of "hello", "how's your mother doing", etc.
• I feel isolated. This is good most of the time, but not all the time.
• I have genuinely good ideas to publicize, and interesting stories to tell. Serious.
• My "biodata" has seen enough eyes that my social identity is less of a question mark and more of an exclamation point. Indian friends will know what I'm talking about.

So - I am a 32 year old Indian software engineer. I will be married in a few months, and I am overweight.

I wrote that, and found it surprisingly limiting.

I suppose I could zoom out a little and talk about the things that I do - according to Batman's ex-girlfriend, that is what defines me.

Okay - I am passionate about:

• Video games.
• Speed chess (No disrespect meant to the classical time format, but there are better ways to wait for paint to dry).
• Personal finance.
• Programming (in a way. Maybe I'll explain more in another post).
• Tinkering.
• Writing.

This website will be dedicated to these loves.
